INCENTIVE PAY hit the inside of the gate, moved in while settling off the pace, was roused in the two then three path on the turn, dropped back to the two path into the stretch, gained under a drive to make a bid inside the leader into the final furlong, battled into the final sixteenth and was outfinished while able to get the show. SMOKEN WICKED went to the front, showed the way under pressure to his outside, vied along the rail on the turn, spun into the two path entering the stretch then drifted out under a left-handed crop while inching clear, led past sixteenth-pole then was overtaken while well clear for fourth position. INNOVATOR was bumped hard at the start then forced into another rival, settled off the pace then moved into a good position, was asked while inside to the two path on the turn, chased into upper stretch and came up empty. MENTEE bumped with rivals on both sides at the start, pressed the pace on the outside, vied in the two path on the turn, turned into the stretch in the three path and tired. STUDLYDORIGHT broke out and hit the gate then bumped with a rival, was ridden along off the pace, saved ground on the turn, turned into the stretch in the three path, steadied behind horses near the furlong marker and failed to threaten. TOUGH CATCH bumped with a rival at the start, moved out while urged along off the pace, chased in the four then five path on the turn, was driven into the six path at the quarter-pole, dropped back while remaining on his inside lead in upper stretch and came up empty. MR. MENDELSLEW was slow into stride, settled at the rear then dropped well behind, saved ground on the turn and trailed.
