Chart notes
MOBETTERTHANGOOD broke in then bumped with a foe and was off a step slow, settled off the pace, moved from the rail to the three path under urging late on the turn, turned into the stretch in the four path then quickly moved out to the six path, rallied outside into the final furlong and closed strongly to get up late and prevail. THREE B'S broke out and brushed the gate, disputed the pace on the outside, dropped back a bit leaving the backstretch, chased in the four path on the turn, re-bid at the quarter-pole then took a short lead in upper stretch, led under a drive into the final sixteenth but was overtaken while clear for the place. OMAHA PISTOL prompted the pace on the inside of two rivals, dropped just off the pace late on the backstretch, went around the turn in the two path, chose to alter out from behind horses despite a tight opening in front in upper stretch, was guided out while trying to lug in, chased into the final sixteenth, lugged in behind the runner-up late and was out-kicked while able to get the show. HIT THE POST was bumped at the start then forced in and off slow, moved up then was put under stout restraint while behind horses, moved out outside the five-eighths pole, made a bid between horses while tugging keenly on the bit around the nine-sixteenths pole, vied outside in the three path on the turn, battled under a drive into the final sixteenth and weakened. ONE VISION moved in while showing speed, contested the pace between foes then on the inside of a rival, was asked while inside to the two path on the turn, battled under a drive in upper stretch, dropped back into the final furlong and tired. SPIRIT OF THE LAW settled on the outside, was asked leaving the backstretch then urged in the four path on the turn and came up empty. MOZAMBIQUE settled off the pace, saved ground early on the turn, angled out late on that bend, came four wide into the stretch and failed to threaten. OZZY brushed the inside of the gate at the start, settled off the pace, was urged along passing the nine-sixteenths, traveled around the turn in the three then four path, turned into the stretch in the six path, moved out around the furlong marker and was no factor. BRUNCH settled off the pace, moved out near the five-eighths pole, shifted in late on the backstretch, was urged along in the three path on the turn and failed to respond.
