Chart notes
DARK SIDE (IRE) mid pack, moved up inside through the second turn, angled out to bid outside the leader three wide into the stretch, edged ahead, then drifted out while dueling with a rival inside the furlong marker and held. PARTNER TOURS mid pack, moved up two and three wide through the second turn, came three wide into the stretch, angled out for clear racing room, dueled with the winner inside the furlong marker and was carried out by that one and hung. COOPERSTOWN allowed to settle, looped up three and four wide through the second turn, fanned seven wide into the stretch, drifted in, edged for the show and held. LIGHTNING CHARLIE allowed to settle, looped four and five wide through the second turn, fanned widest into the stretch, made a steady gain and could not get up for the show. THIRTY OYSTERS chased the pace, moved to position two and three wide through the second turn, fanned four wide into the stretch and flattened the final furlong. GOLDEN OAK showed little. HUNTIN' THE RUT well placed and outside, held position three and four wide through the second turn, fanned five wide into the stretch and faded. SHIMMERING LEROID sprinted away from the field in the early going, faded the final furlong.
