Chart notes
EL BAMBINO was in had early, rallied at the quarter pole, angled in stretch to the rail and prevailed late under firm handling JOHNNNY'S GAME dueled on the lead throughout, was outfinished late but clearly was second best. STEP AHEAD vied for the lead three wide and weakened only slightly. JIMMY JUNGA pressed the pace throughout and faltered late. BIG POPPER was unhurried early and was no threat. RULE IT was no menace. CAPTURE MI raced wide for six furlongs, then tired.
