Chart notes
TOOL TIME broke alertly to set the pace, was given his cue nearing the stretch and held under a late drive. CHASE THE SUN sat in striking position while four wide, was set down at the three-sixteenth pole, closed gradually and missed. SQUALOTORO improved late. QUINTO SOL chased inside early, loomed boldly near the quarter pole and yielded in stretch. BRODY'S PAL was under a snug hold early in traffic, and lacked a serious bid. MAGNIFICENT MARIO settled inside and failed to threaten. HE'S A SAINT tracked wide, and lacked a closing response. DOC COPE showed little.
