Chart notes
BODACIOUS , away alertly, was urged clear leaving the chute, dropped in to the two path to set the pace, handled some outside pressure from STYLE CAT past the five sixteenths, spurted away after being put to a serious drive in upper stretch then was kept alert to the final yards. STYLE CAT , three wide prompting outside the winner, was bumped by an inner rival entering the turn, applied more pressure near the five sixteenths, failed to quicken with the winner soon into the lane, remained on his left lead to deep stretch and had enough left to save the place. SHEA BRENNAN , off slowly after having his head turned at the break then hitting the outer portion of his stall, regrouped then bumped with STYLE CAT when pulling his way forward along the rail into to the turn, tracked inside around the turn, was under pressure chasing inside through the lane and kept on with effort. THE GYPSY COWBOY , four then three wide outside a rival chasing the leaders, churned on to gain some in the final furlong. TIMTY , three then two wide to the inside of a rival, altered out near mid stretch, failed to kick on and faded.
