Chart notes
HARBOR CANDY vied with EMERY'S ROSE from along the inside, shook that one off entering the stretch to open a clear lead and maintained a safe advantage. DELAYED NOT DENIED saved ground while being allowed to settle, angled out to be two-wide nearing the eighth pole and closed strongly. MISTY MALIBU was unhurried early, came three-wide into the stretch then angled out to be five-wide nearing the sixteenth pole and finished fast. MOONLIGHT GREY was reserved off the early pace, moved into contention while four-wide nearing the quarter pole and then lacked a rally. EMERY'S ROSE vied with HARBOR CANDY for the lead to the stretch and weakened. TRICKLE dropped back while saving ground and failed to be a factor.
