Chart notes
WHEN IN MEXICO broke sharply and raced to the lead from along the rail entering the first turn, dictated the pace in the run down the backstretch and into the final turn, and finished willingly one out from the rail in the drive to hold the closers at bay. BORROWED EQUITY unhurried early while trailing the field into the first turn while saving ground at the rail, advanced smartly midway down the backside, rallied three wide through the final turn, and finished best of all four wide in the drive to get up for the place in the final strides. RICK'S DANCER stalked the early pace while racing two wide entering the first turn, advanced soon after entering the backstretch to loom a threat nearing the final turn, rallied one out from the rail entering the final turn, and finished two wide from between rivals late to garner a share. QUATRE BAK away well and tracked the leader one out from the rail entering the first turn, rallied two wide entering the final turn, and finished from along the rail in the drive. BARBERRY BANDIT stalked the leader from along the rail entering the first turn, maintained a stalking trip in the run down the backside, rallied three wide into the final turn, but lacked the needed closing response when called upon. NU SOUP FOR BABY settled well off the early pace while racing three wide into the first turn, maintained his position throughout, and failed to make a serious impact. DADDY'S PEPPER away alertly and stalked the leaders into the backstretch while racing one out from the rail, dropped back to trail in the run to the final turn, and had little to offer late.
