Chart notes
WHISKEY WEDNESDAY was unhurried around the first turn then edged closer mid-way up the backstretch, moved up to race in aim for the lead late on the far turn, hustled along two to three wide into upper stretch, vied outside of rail running MEGATAP, dug in gamely, raced noses apart then got a head up on the wire. MEGATAP stalked the clear early leader along the inside, remained patiently handled around the far turn, cut the corner entering upper stretch, vied inside of WHISKEY WEDNESDAY down the lane, battled gamely, raced noses apart in late stages then got outnodded in final stride. BOLDISH was allowed to settle out of the gate and continued rated off the early pace, picked up the tempo late on the far turn, swung four to five wide into action entering upper stretch, sustained a steady bid and produced a solid finish. JUSTICE ONCE tracked the pace into the backstretch, raced two wide in range around the final turn, ran on into the final furlong then finished evenly. WARRIOR'S RUN was unhurried and raced in the last flight, hustled along two wide into upper stretch and lacked a needed rally. SEASIDE BOY raced near midpack up the backstretch, was ridden along four wide in contention around the far turn then weakened in the lane. DILLON ROCKS led the way by a clear margin up the backstretch and held onto a diminishing lead around the far turn, got collared at the head of the lane and gave way. ROSIE'S BOY raced in range around the first turn then steadily weakened past upper backstretch and failed to regain contention.
