MARS MAGIC forwardly placed leaving the start, vied for the early lead between rivals then took back to stalk the leading pair, saved ground through the stretch for the first time and was well placed into the second turn, roused into the backstretch run, vied for the lead approaching the third turn then took command at the furlong marker, drew to a clear lead into the stretch, had the margin cut into in the final sixteenth and kept to task in deep stretch. VULIN allowed to settle while never far back in the early stages, saved ground into the first turn, was well placed passing the wire for the first time and saved ground into the second turn, chased from the inside along the backstretch run, finished well in the stretch drive, could not reel in the winner in deep stretch and got up for second in the final strides. BETHEL RIDGE broke alertly and assumed command early command, set a prompted pace into the first turn, carved out moderate fractions while pressured passing the wire for the first time, shook free entering the backstretch run then met the bid of MARS MAGIC approaching the third turn, lost the lead at the furlong marker, could not match strides with the winner in the stretch and just missed for second, while well clear of the rest for third. BOLD DAUGHTER got squeezed a bit leaving the start and was a step slow to begin, settled off of the early pace and saved ground into the first turn, improved position while maintaining an inside path passing the wire for the first time, shifted outside of rivals and chased four wide nearing the furlong marker, could not impact the leaders in the stretch drive and passed tired rivals in the late stages. ROSES R BLUE settled off of the early pace, made a three wide bid along the second turn, could not sustain that run through the final quarter mile and weakened in the late stages. SUPER ELLIE unhurried while saving ground, improved position along the second turn, maintained an inside path to the furlong marker and did not factor in the stretch drive. IRISH SONG LEADER settled off of the early pace, went two to three wide along the first turn, lost position and trailed into the second turn, trailed to the furlong marker, passed a tired rival in the stretch and could not muster a final response. PROOF OF JAZZ away in good order, prompted the decent early pace outside of BETHEL RIDGE, pressed the pace through the stretch for the first time and kept close attendance to BETHEL RIDGE entering the backstretch run, could not keep pace with a quarter mile to go and dropped back.
