Chart notes
JUNCTION ROAD raced in mid pack early on, traveled in the four path down the back side, launched a bid at the three eighths pole, improved through the turn, shifted out in the upper, stretch chased the first two down the lane, was in full stride and rolling, passed the first one, flew up next to the leader and with all the momentum went right by and took the win from the three to five favorite. ASHER'S EDGE vied for the lead, led in company with another rival, attended the pace, worked in company into the stretch, matched strides, battled for top honors, finally shook the inside competitor only to have another rival closing fast blow by leaving ASHER'S EDGE with second place today. NEOPRENE vied for the lead, raced on the rail, was in company and battling down the stretch until NEOPRENE tired. TRICKY TIGER stalked the front runners, raced on the rail and maintained positioning through out. PAXTON was off a bit slow, raced four wide and passed tired rivals. COERCIVE was left leaving the gate and never got involved. MR. TONK was off slow, was never a threat and was transported off the track in the equine ambulance. THERE WAS A STEWARDS INQUIRY AND A RIDER CLAIM OF FOUL INVOLVING PAXTON AND ASHER'S EDGE. PAXTONS RIDER CLAIMED FOUL AGAINS ASHER'S EDGE FOR IINTERFERENCE LEAVING THE GATE. AFTER A STEWARDS REVIEW THE OBJECTION WAS DIS ALLOWED AN NO ACTION WAS TAKEN.
