Chart notes
PHONE EATS FIRST broke in at the start, moving up quickly to the well placed outside, gained position two and three wide through the second turn, bid outside the leader into the stretch, dueled with that one and edged ahead in the final strides. KATHLYNS PHALANX sprinted to a clear lead soon after the start, stayed on when challenged into the stretch, dueled with the winner and was outfinished by that one. BANANA PUDDING never far back, moved up while angling out through the turn, fanned four wide into the stretch, evened and gained the show. SWEET LILIBET broke out at the start, moved up quickly to stalk the pace outside, lost some position steadying on the two path, then flattened in the lane. STARCRY tracked the pace, lost some position on the two path through the second turn, came three wide into the stretch, drifted in and weakened. NOBLE DISGUISE bumped by both sides at the start, steadied, clipped heels, stumbling after the start, then was no factor. UPTOWN CAT was never involved. A CLAIM OF FOUL LODGED BY THE TRAINER OF STARCRY AGAINST THE RIDER OF SWEET LILIBET FOR INTERFERENCE IN THE STRETCH WAS NOT ALLOWED.
