Chart notes
CLASSIC EXAMPLE dueled inside of a rival and lasted under a strong hand ride. AUTHENTIC STYLE dueled outside of the winner but couldn't get past that one in the drive. NOBLE REIGN pressed the pace inside and gave way near the quarter pole. BAYTOWN BEATLE was jostled at the start, saved ground, was steadied on the first turn, raced four wide at the quarter pole but had no late bid. DOGWOOD CROSSING stalked the pace in the four path, came out nearing the eleven-sixteenths pole to force a rival to clip heels, but had no late bid. SUNDAY BEST broke awkwardly, well back, bid at the three-quarters pole, pressed the pace four path and gave way on the far turn. INCREDIBLE was off awkwardly, stalked the pace in the four path, clipped heels when a rival came out, nearly losing the rider and gave way on the far turn. FOLLOWING AN INQUIRY, THE STEWARDS DISQUALIFED DOGWOOD CROSSING AND PLACED HIM LAST.
