Chart notes
BOURBON LIFE raced two deep early down the backstretch, forced steady near the half mile pole, swung wide into the upper stretch, shifted in through the drive and got up under strong encouragement. EVEN THE WIND rated back under a firm hold, moved up through the far turn near the rail through the stretch, led near the sixteenth pole and missed in a game effort. NATHANIEL'S HOPE showed good early foot to set the early going, pressured through the far turn and weakened the final eighth of a mile. STORM'S REFLECTION settled off the early pace, had an inside run and needed more in the drive. HAY MOON prompt the early leader two deep from the outside and gave way. LAWMAKER was off very slow, stalked the pace three to four deep from the outside of rivals and was empty near the quarter pole.
