Chart notes
DEVIL'S TOWER prompt the early leader two deep from the outside of Navy Seal and edge up late under all out pressure. NAVY SEAL settled to back of the pack early, saved ground through the far turn into the upper stretch, shifted out three deep near the eighth pole and finished gamely to the wire. SHARP HERO broke in a bit, bumped with rival at the start, sent along from the inside to control the early pace, dug in late and gave way grudgingly to the top pair. WENT WEST dropped back early, raced three to four wide around the far turn and had no final winning bid. WINNEMAC AVENUE was bumped at the start, chased the pace from the inside and faded.
