Chart notes
Z U AT THE RACES rated off the rail the opening turn, bid leaving the three eighths pole and improved steadily, raced in the five path on the far turn and dug in under steady encouragement to get up under the wire. MON GATEAU rated the pace inside, came under pressure leaving the three eighths pole and kept the advantage nearest the rail on the far turn, dug in under steady handling leaving the turn but was nipped under the wire. BON BUENO was forced outward and into CHICA CHUCK leaving the gate and dropped well back to save ground on the first turn, bid into the backstretch and steadily improved, entered the far turn off the rail, eased out entering the stretch and finished well to take third mid-stretch. The latter was bumped leaving the gate then saved ground, gave chase nearing the seven sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn in the five path and finished well to close the gap. RUSH CENTER saved ground just off the early pace, gave chase leaving the half mile pole, rounded the far turn about the four path then flattened mid-stretch. IRISH BANDIT stalked off the rail the first turn, gave chase from the seven sixteenths pole, raced close off the rail on the far turn then weakened through the lane. CASINO TRICKS veered out leaving the gate then settled in the three path the opening turn, gave chase from the seven sixteenths pole, raced near the rail on the far turn and weakened in the lane. MARCUS JUNIUS showed little response through the backstretch. HERE COMES RUSTY rounded the first turn about the six path and never factored. AKINGISALWAYSKING entered the first turn in the five path, left the turn outside and raced wide.
