DEVIL BLUE DRESS broke out and bumped soundly with a rival, moved in while going to the front, showed the way off the rail down the backstretch, dropped from the three path to the inside early on the turn, was asked under threat on that bend, responded well while battling inside of two foes in upper stretch, shook off those opponents coming to the furlong marker and drew off under strong urging. YOU'RE FOREVER stumbled inward at the start then bumped soundly with a foe, stalked the pace on the outside, made a bid leaving the backstretch, vied in the four then three path under urging on the turn, spun into upper stretch in the five path then battled outside of two opponents, lost touch with the winner near the furlong marker and proved no match while clear for the place. PLAY FREE BIRD bumped with a rival at the start, was well placed just off the pace, chased in the two path on the turn, gained in the three path into the stretch then made a bid near the three-sixteenths pole, dropped back into the final furlong and weakened but was clear for the show. PERMED bumped with a rival at the start, was ridden along while climbing into kickback, went around the turn in the three then four path, turned into the stretch in the five path and lacked the needed response. PROPER GRAMMAR was hustled from the start then urged along off the pace, moved from the rail to the three path on the turn, dropped in under a drive in upper stretch and failed to threaten. JAY'S LOVE was ridden along at the rear, saved ground on the turn and was no factor. FRANNIE LEW was bumped hard on both sides at the start then dropped back, settled on the outside, gained under urging leaving the backstretch, made a bid in the five path midway through the turn, dropped back in the six path into upper stretch and capitulated.
