Chart notes
ALWAYS GAMBLING stalked from the four path the first turn, challenged leaving the half mile pole and took the nod two deep approaching the quarter, dueled clear toward mid-stretch and was steadily handled to widen the final sixteenth. MOVING PICTURES rated a short lead inside, kept the advantage over Always Gambling from the half mile pole, was met at the rail nearing the quarter and dug in from that point, but dropped back mid-stretch and had to settled for second best. BURTON WAY raced in the five path the first turn then stalked into the backstretch, gave chase from the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn off the rail and flattened in the lane. ROAD SLEW rated close, picked up the chase leaving the seven sixteenths pole, raced near the rail on the far turn and showed little in the lane. PERSONABLE came away awkwardly and scraped the stall gate, raced in the six path the first turn, left the turn outside and rounded the far turn in the five path. MOON FALL settled back in the three path and never factored. ON A WHIM stalked off the rail the first turn, gave chase leaving the half mile pole but faded through the backstretch.
