Chart notes
BATTLE STRIKE dueled for the lead while being nicely rated on the backstretch, was roused in upper stretch and put into a strong drive and drew off in late stretch. AIN'T THAT A KICK stalked the pace while three wide on the backstretch, rallied on the far turn and was four wide in the stretch drive, was all out and was up for the place in the final strides. BOUGIE JOE dueled for the lead while two wide on the backstretch, was in a long drive but weakened in late stretch. PROJECTION stalked the pace while inside on the backstretch, made a bid into the far turn then was no menace in the drive. OPTIMAL TRIP was allowed to settled while inside then failed to menace. DR VINNIE BOOMBATZ was unhurried early and no threat. BOBWHITE BOBBY was unhurried early and outrun.
