Chart notes
MAN O ROSE showed the way under pressure in the two path on the clubhouse turn, cleared outer rival into the backstretch, took pressure again past the three-eighths pole, put away outer rival at the five-sixteenths marker, led three wide into the lane, drew off when roused in upper stretch, asked right handed with a furlong remaining, widened in the late stages and was in hand approaching the wire. DONT FIGHT THE FED unhurried from inside then moved into the two path for the first turn, tracked out of range up the backstretch, rounded the far turn two to three wide, could not make any headway on the winner down the lane but offered a mild rally to best the rest. COALINGA ROAD tracked four then three wide early, stayed off the rail and came four wide into the lane and churned on for the show honors. COWBOY MIKE stalked along the inside early, went between rivals past the three-eighths pole to press the pace, urged along to keep up on the far turn but lost touch with the winner near the five-sixteenths pole and weakened in the lane. SHORTMAN got put in tight between rivals chasing into the first turn, lagged behind up the backstretch and far turn, asked right handed along the inside entering the lane and improved position. EL REY DORADO prompted the pace from outside in the three path around the first turn, took a stalking position on the backstretch, traveled four then five wide on the far turn and weakened. FAST DRAW MUNNINGS stalked four then three wide early, remained outside while forwardly placed in the middle stages, lost ground five then six wide on the far turn and tired in the stretch run.
