Z Z'S PRINCE was taken back early, advanced on the inside on the turn, then cut the corner and closed up the inside to edge away late to prove best under a drive. BEN DREAMING was well rated early, made a two wide bod on the turn and hit the front nearing the furlong marker but could not go with the winner late while being second best. DARE TO FAIL was settled three wide early, then advanced two wide on the far turn, swung out four wide and made a bid but needed more late while besting the rest. BRIARTOWN was hustled along to set the pace on the inside and then weakened in the final furlong. PARROT HEAD was settled early, three wide on the far turn but had no rally. ALEX JOON was four wide into the first turn, then had an outside pursuit and tired. RIGHTANDJUST was bumped at the break, stalked the pace four wide and tired.
