NICOLE'S KING stalked close up three wide, then vied three wide, dueled outside on the far turn, put a head in front, then battled heads apart with RUN CORY RUN through a long stretch drive and prevailed. RUN CORY RUN vied inside for the lead, dueled inside on the far turn, dug in gamely on the rail in the stretch and battled heads apart with the winner to the finish. EL DE LEO had a four wide trip racing off the pace, tracked the leaders on the far turn, came three wide into the lane, lacked a winning bid and finished evenly. DR BAYTER vied two wide for the lead, then dueled, chased on the far turn and tired. SMOOTH PLAYER raced two wide off the pace, chased on the far turn and failed to threaten. SUPREME DOMINANCE had a four wide trip racing off the pace, chased three or four wide on the far turn and faded. NOT THISTIMERANDY raced off the pace inside and did not factor.
