Chart notes
AMERICAIN JOEY rated just off the pace around the first turn and up the backstretch, moved up three wide to challenge for the lead approaching the quarter pole, cleared command at the head of the lane, angled in, widened advantage then held late over closing KOSELIO. KOSELIO raced four wide around the first turn, continued unhurried and raced in the back through early stages, hustled up along the outside late on the far turn, swung four to five wide into upper stretch, gathered momentum under steady encouragement and closed on the winner. COMMANDER REX was forwardly placed around the first turn and continued in striking range through the backstretch, vied for the lead around the far turn, could not move on with eventual winner at the head of the lane and ran on for a share. GRAND DESIGN pressed the pace along the inside up the backstretch, flattened around the far turn and retreated in the drive. DAVIDIC LINE set a pressured pace around the first turn and up the backstretch, vied for the lead around the final turn then dropped back in the lane.
