SULTAN THE GREAT set a contested pace in the three path, was ridden in the two path around the turn, swung from the three path into the lane, and drew clear in the final furlong. OURS FOR SURE pressed the winner in the two path, was coaxed along the inside around the turn, and chased on to hold place. DON'T ANSWER dwelt at the start and trailed in the two path, fanned out to the six path under a drive turning into the lane, and kept on for show. CACIQUE ABARRIO chased inside, was ridden in the two path around the turn, but flattened from the three path in the stretch. AWESOME WIND tracked in the four path but made no impact in the five path down the lane. WINE EMPIRE also chased while between foes in the two path but weakened.
