Chart notes
CODE RUNNER stalked the front runner while traveling in the three path, stayed in contention until the quarter pole, was given the cue and responded well, quickly improved position, gained ground, split rivals and drew off for the win. BEEALEA ,raced from off of the pace in the three path, started moving after the half mile pole, launched a bid at the three eighths pole, shifted to the out side, gained ground and improved position, went widest into the stretch, kept closing under a left handed urging, was ridden all the way to the wire edging clear of an inside competitor getting up for second. COOL QUARTET raced in the four path while stalking the early leader, launched a bid at the three eighths pole, drew beside the leader and challenged for the lead near the quarter pole, battled into the upper stretch then could not sustain the bud, was passed by another closing rival near the wire finishing third. MILLARD'S SMILE raced off of the pace, traveled in the six path, started to move after the half mile pole, gained ground and improved position, launched a bid at the five sixteenth pole,, had a horse on the out side and quickly moved up behind the leaders with that one one the outside, was briefly caught with no where to go, moved out after a stride or two, continued to close then faded mid stretch. STRONGER TOGETHER took the rail and the led, set s reasonable pace, was challenged at the five sixteenth pole, battled into upper stretch then faded. JEFF THE LION was off mid pack, raced on the rail, saved ground through out, finished even. REMEMBER THE MAINE raced off of the pace four wide, dropped far back and never got involved.
