Chart notes
RIGHT ON THE MUNNY sprinted to a clear lead soon after the start, set all the pace and maintained his advantage under strong handling. COLONEL COOPER unhurried early, drifted to the seven path under left handed urging entering the stretch then rallied for second in the six path. PROFESSOR NICK chased the winner and went evenly. DRILL'S BOY had speed through the turn then weakened. BLUE BLOOD COWBOY was no factor. DRILL EM was outrun. BOSS HOG hesitated, threw his head after the gate opened, hit the gate coming out and was never close. THE STEWARDS POSTED THE INQUIRY SIGN BUT TOOK NO ACTION.
