ELLIOT THE DRAGON had good position early, rallied at the quarter pole, drew clear in the stretch and remained clear late driving. RED HEAD KID was never far back, rallied in the stretch and was second best. PAINT THE TOWN allowed to settle, rallied in the stretch and closed willingly. COWTOWN BOSS broke slowly and was no menace. NAMBITI pressed the pace and tired in the stretch. PROSECUTOR dueled on the lead for a half, then gave way.
