HUNTIN' THE RUT sprinted to a clear lead soon after the start, drew off down the backstretch, then lasted unchallenged to the final yards. PARTNER TOURS mid pack and inside, moved up two and three wide through the second turn, bid three wide outside the leader into the stretch, made a steady gain and lacked the needed late kick. ELM STREET mid pack and outside, looped up three wide through the turn, fanned four wide into the stretch, then had a mild gain to hold the show. HARI unhurried, looped up three and four wide through the second turn, came four wide into the stretch and improved position. GAMBLING MAN allowed to settle, saved ground through the turns, came through inside into the stretch and passed tiring rivals. SHOWDOWN KING rated back, looped up three and four wide through the second turn, came four wide into the stretch and faded. PUNX well placed, gained position three wide through the second turn, then faded four wide into the stretch. CAMINO DE SANTIAGO well placed and off the rail, faded through the second turn.
