LIGHTNING CHARLIE well placed and between, angled in and tracked the pace through the second turn, angled out to bid outside of that one into the stretch, then made a steady gain and edged ahead in the final strides. MISCHIEF WARRIOR set the pace inside, shook clear into the stretch, then was outfinished and held the place. TRIPLE START allowed to settle, moved up on the two path through the second turn, fanned four wide into the stretch, made a steady gain, then evened the final furlong and edged up for the show. CITY LEADER stalked the pace on the outside, held position on the two path through the second turn, came three wide into the stretch, evened the final furlong and was outfinished for the show. HIGH HEADED steadied for racing room into the first turn, looped up three and four wide through the second turn, came four wide into the stretch, drifted in and weakened. NAVY PIER ran evenly, inside. GOLDEN OAK well placed and outside, faded three wide through the second turn. THOUSAND LOVES was no factor.
