Chart notes
RAN OUT OF TRAINER immediately took over and rated the pace, was pressured past the three eighths pole, widened on the far turn and was steadily handled through the lane. PETTY PERFECT settled off the rail, raced boxed nearest the rail leaving the five sixteenths pole but bid into the far turn and settled for second best while flattening later yards. NAVY BAND stalked off the rail the first turn, gave chase leaving the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn about the three path and flattened in the lane. DAY DRAMA settled in the three path the opening turn, picked up the chase leaving the seven sixteenths pole, raced in the four path on the far turn and showed little further. PALACIO dropped well back while saving ground on the first turn, improved her position from the three eighths pole and was eased outward on the far turn. DREAM LEADER raced in the four path the first turn, gave chase past the three eighths pole then flattened off the rail on the far turn. CANDY TRICKS saved ground, gave chase past the three eighths pole then flattened off the rail on the far turn. LA MADDALENA stalked from the four path the first turn, raced outside into the backstretch and gave chase from the seven sixteenths pole, but faded through the backstretch and was eased late.
