Chart notes
BLAKE JAMES was close-up racing along the inside, steadied nearing the seven-sixteenths pole lacking room, then recovered to moved up along the inside on the turn, angled out nearing the eighth pole and was up in the final sixteenth to win going away. XAVI saved ground setting the pace but was unable to resist BLAKE JAMES late and held on well for second. COACH CLINT broke out then was forwardly placed while racing three-wide, moved up to offer a bid entering the stretch and then flattened out during the drive. RAGNOW saved ground while being allowed to settle, came four-wide into the stretch but failed to seriously threaten. MISTER WOODFORD bobbled at the start then prompted the early pace from between horses and tired.
