Chart notes
DIAKONISSA gave chase through the backstretch, raced in the three path on the turn and dug in to get up the final stride. BOSS LADY K P pressured the pace, drew to even terms off the rail nearing the head of the lane, took the nod at the eighth pole and dueled briefly clear mid-stretch, but was nipped in the final stride. AUDIBLE THE PLAY was forced out at the start then gave chase, raced near the rail on the turn, eased out into the stretch and dueled to take third later yards. MARILYN MOONROE gave chase, rounded the turn in the three and four paths and finished well. FLYING TO NEPTUNE took over at the half mile pole and set a pressured pace, gave up the lead at the rail leaving the turn then flattened toward mid-stretch. OVER THE BULL was forced out leaving the gate then gave chase, raced in the five path on the turn and ran evenly in the lane. MACNICK TIME chased, rounded the turn in the six path and showed little in the lane. HOLY JOANIE steadied on the chute then gave chase and saved ground on the turn.
