Chart notes
SARATOGA GAZE set the pace on the inside, showed the way on the far turn, responded when roused in upper stretch and held well under urging in the two path. CHEZ SOLEIL was a bit reluctant to load, then pulled close up on the inside, tracked inside, saved ground on the far turn, rallied in upper stretch, made a bid and finished evenly. ANILEATE raced off the pace with an inside trip and rallied mildly on the rail for third. CENTER STAGE raced off the pace inside, moved up two wide on the far turn, came four wide into the stretch, angled in and closed mildly inside. JUDGEMENT TIME raced three wide on the first turn, settled two wide off the pace, bid three wide on the far turn and weakened. BUTTERFLY QUEEN raced two wide off the pace, moved up four wide at the quarter pole and failed to threaten. MORE MANGO was outrun. MIDNIGHT HEIRESS stalked close up two wide, chased on the far turn, dropped back at the quarter pole, was eased in the stretch and transported off the track in the equine ambulance.
