Chart notes
Q F SEVENTY FIVE allowed to settle, moved up inside through the second turn, angled out and came four wide into the stretch, made a steady gain, edged ahead at the furlong marker, then drew off and was kept to the task. R ADMIRAL tracked the pace well back rating, moved up two and three wide through the second turn, came three wide into the stretch, angled in, made a steady gain and edged up for the place. COPPERLITE well placed and outside, gained position three wide through the second turn, bid on that path into the stretch, angled out for clear racing room, evened and gained the show. PEMAQUID PETE hopped at the start, sprinted clear quickly, held sway unchallenged to the furlong marker, then weakened late and held a share. ROSE'S PEPINO passed tiring rivals, outside. FLAWLESS BOURBON stalked the pace on the outside, held position on the two path through the turn, came through on that path into the stretch and faded the final furlong. THE BLACK STRAT was never involved.
