Chart notes
HENRO was reserved off the early pace, angled out to be four-wide entering the stretch, took the lead nearing the sixteenth pole and won going away. JEFFERSON STREET saved ground tracking the pace, rallied three-wide into the stretch, angled further out nearing the eighth pole and closed strongly. DILGER (IRE) was forwardly placed while racing three-wide, moved up to take a slight lead nearing the eighth pole but was unable to resist the top two late in a game try. ILLUMINARE prompted VALENTINE CANDY to the eighth pole while racing two-wide and weakened slightly late. VALENTINE CANDY saved ground setting the pace to near the eighth pole and tired. WILLY D'S was allowed to settle, came four-wide into the stretch but lacked a rally.
