Chart notes
CAPTAIN QUICK raced off the pace, advanced inside on the turn, angled out at the quarter pole, ran by the pacesetter and pulled away in hand. CHOCHOCHO dueled outside for the lead, took over entering the turn, then was no match for the winner, dug in on the rail in the final furlong and held on for the place spot. EL TEKILERO dueled inside for the lead, chased between rivals on the turn, rallied mildly outside in the lane and just missed for second. KERN RIVER raced off the pace inside, advanced at the quarter pole and closed mildly in the two path. EQUALJUSTICEFORALL was off a bit slow, outrun early and gained some ground in the lane. UNCLE REMI vied between rivals early, then chased three wide on the turn and faded.
