Chart notes
ROBO MAN settled in the back early, rallied five-wide into the stretch and finished fast to be up in the final sixtenenth. KNICKS STORY vied for the lead with HEY EUGENE while racing two-wide, responded during the drive and held on gamely for the place. W W CRAZY was reserved off the early pace, came three-wide into the stretch then angled out to be four-wide nearing the three-sixteenths pole and closed strongly. FITZPATRICK bobbled from between horses shortly after the start then was allowed to settle, moved up strongly on the turn while three-wide, gained a slight lead nearing the eighth pole but needed more latre. HEY EUGENE vied for the lead with KNICSKS STORY from along the inside into the stretch and weakened slightly during the late stages. CIRCLE BACK JACK saved ground chasing the pace, angled out nearing the eighth pole to e five-wide but lacked a rally.
