SELF SERVING away alertly and vied for the lead from along the rail entering the stretch the first time, forced the issue from the outside of FRANKIE MACHINE in the run down the backstretch, rallied two wide through the final turn, and finished gamely three wide in the drive to prevail. FORT LANGLEY broke sharply and tracked the leaders through the stretch the first time while racing one out from the rail, held his position in the run down the backstretch, rallied four wide entering the final turn, and closed determinedly five wide in the drive to just miss. FRANKIE MACHINE tracked the leaders from along the inside entering the stretch the first time, was afforded a rail run approaching the second turn and raced up to vie for the lead, set a pressured pace in the run down the backstretch, continued to battle for the lead from along the rail through the final turn, and finished from along the inside in the drive to hold on for a share. READY HERO stalked the leaders through the stretch while saving ground along the inside, gain some ground from along the inside in the run down the backstretch, continued to save ground through the final turn, and finished four wide int he drive. FAMILY BIZ dueled for the early lead from the outside of SELF SERVING entering the stretch the first time, eased into a tracking trip entering the backstretch behind the contested pacesetters, rallied three wide from between rival while in a bit tight through the final turn, and finished three out from the rail int he drive. SOMTHING ELUSIVE unhurried early while dropping back to trail entering the stretch the first time, continued to bide his time at the back of the pack in the run down the backstretch, launched his bid four wide entering the final turn, and finished with some late interest five wide in the drive. TEXAS MOONSHINE away well and stalked the early pace while racing three wide entering the stretch the first time, struggled to hold his position through the second turn and in the run down the backside, and failed to mount a serious late bid when called upon. Following the running of this race there was a jockey's claim of foul. The rider of FAMILY BIZ lodged a claim of foul against the rider of FORT LANGLEY for alleged interference on the final turn. After review, the claim of foul was disallowed and no change was made to the original order of finish.
