Chart notes
CAPTAIN'S FLAG veered out leaving the gate, recovered to press the pace on the outside up the backstretch, navigated the turn from the three path and kicked clear in the lane. MALIBU BRAD chased the leader on the inside through the opening quarter, came around the bend in the four path and kept on in the stretch. KEYSER raced in the middle of the pack early, saved ground around the turn and chased on in the lane. ULTIMATE FIGHTER led the way on the inside up the backstretch, navigated the turn from the two path and weakened in the stretch. GRAY MIKE raced in the back of the pack on the outside through the opening quarter, came around the turn in the three path and was empty from there. CUCUY tracked the leader on the outside up the backstretch, continued around the turn in the three path and faded in the lane. DRAFTSMAN raced off the pace on the inside through the opening stages, came around the bend in the four path and made no bid.
