Chart notes
HOBBS lose in post parade, was hard to rate early, angled out and looped to position three wide through the turn, came four wide into the stretch, drifted in and drew off under steady left hand pressure. HARBOUR BRIDGE well placed and outside, angled in and saved ground through the turn, came through inside of rivals into the stretch, angled out for clear racing room, made a steady gain and closed the gap on the winner late. HOYLAKE broke a step slowly from the gate and was allowed to settle, saved ground through the turn, came through inside of rivals into the stretch, angled three and four wide and edged up for the show in the final strides. JIMMY RULES unhurried, moved up two and three wide through the turn, came three wide into the stretch, angled widest and edged up for a share. SIG tracked the pace, gained a striking position on the two path through the turn, bid outside the leader into the stretch, then weakened late. R CHELLO sprinted away from the field in the early going, faded the final furlong.
