BLUE SQUALL took light contact from an outer rival at the start, tracked in the four path, ranged up to bid in upper stretch, drove clear at the furlong grounds, then lasted between rivals while beginning to falter at the wire. BRUNCH PUNCH tracked along the inside while pursuing a path off of the inner rail around the turn, split foes two wide while running on in the final furlong, sustained a late rail bid for place and narrowly reached that position at the wire. GIRLS WEEKEND dueled for the lead two wide, got outkicked by an outer bidder in upper stretch, kept on in the final furlong, tipped out while closing back in on the leader late, but steadied slightly and missed place at the wire. WAILUA hesitated at the start and spotted the rest many lengths, moved out of last two wide into the turn, tipped to the four path in upper stretch, advanced between rivals in midstretch, then ran on in the final furlong to reach fourth late. ZEN MOMENT stalked three wide, got outkicked by an outer bidder in upper stretch, chased and lacked a bid. MT. MASADA dueled for the lead with an outer rival around the turn, got surpassed by a wider bidder whlie his rider lost his crop in upper stretch and gave way. JE SUIS RAPIDE chased from midpack along the inside and saved ground to no avail. LA LA ROSE broke a step slow and brushed an inner rival upon leaving the gate, laid off of the pace in the five path, tipped to the six path entering the lane and lacked a rally. PATE pursued from midpack in the four path, spun to the five path entering the lane and faded. DOT broke a beat slow, raced off of the pace while hung in the six path and tired. ALTER THE STARS broke a step slow, lacked speed along the inside, trailed around the turn and got outrun.
