Chart notes
FOR FUN settled off of the early pace while never far back, improved position two to three wide along the turn, was floated six wide into upper stretch, responded to firm urging and vied for the lead at the furlong grounds, took command into the final sixteenth and kept to task in the late stages for a determined win. MISS LUCKY LADY tracked the early pace from the second flight, chased three to four wide nearing the quarter marker, was carried seven wide into the stretch and ran evenly to the furlong marker, finished well in the final sixteenth, could not reel in the winner in deep stretch and was clear for the place honors. WAY RITE broke out at the start and was off slowly, settled off of the early pace then rushed up to stalk the pace three to four wide approaching the turn, pressed the pace three wide nearing the quarter marker, drifted five wide into upper stretch, was outkicked into the final sixteenth and held well for third in the late stages. PANDEMIC GIRL took back off of the early pace, was guided two to three wide nearing the quarter marker, swung widest into the stretch, ran evenly to the furlong marker and passed tired rivals in the late stages. RAISE OUR FLAG chased the early pace from the inside, maintained an inside position into the stretch and could not muster a late response. JERRYS WAY disputed the early pace outside of BOISTEROUSLY IRISH, pressed the pace between rivals nearing the quarter marker, battled into the stretch, was overtaken past the furlong marker and tired in the final sixteenth. BOISTEROUSLY IRISH contested the early pace from the inside, could not hold off oncoming rivals in the final furlong and faded.
