Chart notes
SWEET RIVER BAINES forwardly placed away from the start, settled off of the solid early pace while never far back, chased two to three wide and between rivals nearing the quarter pole, roused four wide into the stretch, mounted a strong rally to take command into the final sixteenth and drove clear in the late stages. FINALLY AN EDDIE tracked the solid early pace from the inside, maintained a ground saving path into upper stretch, could not match strides with the winner into the final sixteenth and closed for second. MIDNIGHT SPLIT took back off of the solid early pace, saved ground into the turn, angled out at mid-stretch, rallied in the final sixteenth and missed for second, while getting up in time for third. LET'S REJOYCE showed good early speed, set a contested pace heading to the turn, disputed the pace inside of AUSPICE nearing the quarter marker, battled into upper stretch, was overtaken into the final sixteenth and was outfinished in deep stretch. AUSPICE pressed the solid early pace outside of LET'S REJOYCE, battled into the stretch, could not hold off oncoming rivals into the final sixteenth and weakened in deep stretch. WE NEED MARKETING chased the solid pace from the second flight, went four wide nearing the quarter marker, ran evenly to mid-stretch and tired in the late stages. POOF HE'S GONE chased the solid early pace while widest, raced four to five wide into the turn and lost position nearing the quarter pole, lacked a response in the stretch drive and faded. JAZZ TOWN settled off of the solid early pace, trailed into the turn, went five wide nearing the quarter pole and did not threaten in the stretch.
