Chart notes
KING OF THE PALACE was unhurried early, loomed five wide through the second turn, while taking control in the turn, opened up, kept on, drifted out and was best today. SHARP STICK pressed the early pace, went three wide into the second turn, was no match late and finished second best. PROFESSOR HIGGINS was allowed to settle early, raced six wide though the second turn, followed the winner home and was along for third. SIR PISTOLERO set a pressured pace from the inside and faded.
