Chart notes
KINETIC STONE contested the early pace inside, was taken back past the half, stalked on the turn before angling out leaving that bend, was six wide and full of run under urging in upper stretch, took charge a furlong out and drove clear then held. ARASHI brought up the rear having moved out off the inside, raced inside foes leaving the turn and swung out, angled out further to be nine wide past the furlong marker, finished well and was gaining but too late. MUSICAL SPELL got away well then settled off the leaders attending the pace from outside about four wide, continued three to four deep on the turn, drifted five wide into upper stretch, made a mild bid at that juncture but could not kick on with the top ones. ZIPPY GIZMO settled last but one, was between foes leaving the turn, swung eight wide into upper stretch, kicked on well but missed show. CLASSY IMAGE forced the pace from between runners mostly two to three wide and taking the lead past the half, lacked the needed late kick. QUIET INTENT raced mid-pack outside, swung nine wide into upper stretch, failed to rally. PRINCE OF THIEVES settled off the rail inside a foe, swung six deep turning for home, failed to threaten.
