Chart notes
HURRICANE ALERT saved ground on the first turn, started his bid past the seven sixteenths pole and improved in the four path on the far turn, dug in leaving the turn and dueled for the lead the final yards. NOID raced off the rail the first turn, gave chase nearing the seven sixteenths pole and took a slim lead two deep approaching the head of the lane, dug in under steady handling leaving the turn but was outfinished the final yards. CHARITABLE WINDSOR stalked the early pace two deep then took over approaching the half mile pole, came under pressure past the seven sixteenths, raced at the rail on the far turn, gave up the lead past the eighth pole and flattened in the lane. HAPPY YEARS settled in the three path the first turn, gave chase leaving the half mile pole and rounded the far turn about the four path, then flattened stride later yards. DR JACK FLYER rounded the opening turn in the five path, gave chase past the half mile pole then flattened stride in the six path on the far turn. JUST A FLIRT settled in the three path the first turn, gave chase from the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn about the seven path and flattened in the lane. STROLLINGINTHEWIND saved ground on the first turn and rounded the far turn about the three path. UNCLE EDDIE raced in the four path the first turn and showed little response through the backstretch. DASHING D'ARTAGNAN raced in the three path the first turn and showed little response. REMYS GUNSMOKE set the early pace inside, was met nearing the half mile pole and gave chase from that point, but dropped back at the five sixteenths and faded at the rail on the far turn. The Stewards reviewed then rejected a claim of foul against the rider of Hurricane Alert for alleged interference through the stretch, lodged by the rider of Noid.
