Chart notes
MANZONI sped to the lead soon after the start, set the pace and held clear around the turn, continued on top into final furlong then held late under a drive. BOX A ROCKS was forwardly placed racing behind the early leader, sustained bid for rival into stretch run, ran on determinedly and was getting to the winner late. SUTTER BUG got pinched back and steadied at the start, raced in the back, gained closer contention around the turn, ran on three wide through the lane and cleared the rest. P R MORE WHISKEY raced off the early pace, came two wide into stretch and failed to threaten. SHAME ON STEVE showed response in early stages then gave way. WILL RUN chased in range in opening stages then steadily retreated.
