THREE TECHNIQUE tracked the leading trio from the three to four path around the turn, tipped outside of them to take aim from the eight path in upper stretch, ranged up to bid passing the furlong grounds, led into the final sixteenth and drove clear. TUMBARUMBA vied for the lead inside of pair of rivals into the turn, took the bend in the three path, gamely battled through midstretch, but was bested by a wider bidder while repelling his aforementioned counterparts with a sixteenth to go. CAGLIOSTRO prompted outside of the top pair and from the five path around the turn, vied turning for home, battled through midstretch but was outkicked by an outer rival entering the final sixteenth and gave way. STAGE RAIDER vied two wide and between horses whlie taking the turn in the four path, fought on among foes through midstretch but yielded with a sixteenth to go.
