Chart notes
TEE OFF TIME was allowed to settle off the pace around the first turn, continued nicely rated up the backstretch, let out a notch entering the far turn, quickly advanced into contention near the quarter pole, given cue three wide at the head of the lane, collared the leader mid-way through the lane, had plenty left in reserve and finished going away. SPECIALSORTASTORM vied for the lead around the first turn, set a pressured quick pace up the backstretch, shook free to a clearer lead late on the turn, continued on top a furlong out then got collared mid-stretch and finished clearly second best. STROLLIN NORMAN B was well reserved and trailed around the first turn and up the backstretch, picked up the tempo late on the far turn, hustled along three to four wide into stretch run and gained a share. DAWSON'S STORM settled off the quick early pace, moved up closer around the far turn, cut the corner entering upper stretch, raced in range then flattened in the final furlong. FREEDOM TO SPEED was forwardly placed around the first turn and up the backstretch, hustled along in contention around the far turn then tired in the drive. SINCERELY MINE raced up close around the first turn and remained forwardly placed up the backstretch then came up empty around the final turn.
