Chart notes
SHOW TIME broke out and brushed a rival at the stat, set the pace along the inside, shook free of an outer presser in upper stretch and held sway. SUTHERLAND was reluctant to load, pressed outside of the eventual winner, chased that one in the three path in upper stretch, kept on while hanging on his left lead but was fended off. UNCLE BERLEY broke slowly and steadied when put to cramped quarters between horses at the start, rushed forward to stalk along the inside, chased turning for home, vied for show with an outer rival through midstretch and prevailed. CITY OF CLOUDS took contact from an inner rival at the start, tracked three wide, chased around the turn, vied for show with an inner rival through midstretch but was bested. CRIMINAL DEFENSE lacked speed along the inside and made little impace. STAR NATION lagged behind and got outrun.
